When ordering, remember that age is not always an accurate guide to sizes. The height of your child generally gives a better indication of which size to buy (especially for toddlers). The Pumpkin Patch look for children has been created with easy-fitting fashion clothes which allow room for growth, although some of the latest girls' styles are more fitted so it's best to check all body measurements against our size chart. Footwear
Insole measurements can vary from one shoe style to another. For this reason it is important you measure your child's feet before buying. The standing position is most suitable for this, as the foot naturally spreads out when weight is applied. Measure from the heel to the longest toe, this is often found easiest drawing around the foot on a piece of paper. Measure both feet too, as one foot is normally larger than the other. Once you have this measurement you can then order the right shoe by buying the size that is 12-18mm longer than your measurement. Measurements are all listed under the description against each style.
